SILENCE IS TO BE STRICTLY OBSERVED IN THE LIBRARY
- Members should bring ID card and Pass book for book transactions.
- Members are required to deposit their bags/belongings at the property counter.
- Books will be lent to students for a period of 14 days, and subsequently they need to renew.
- Books borrowed must be returned on or before the due date. Books returned after due date will be charged an overdue of 50 paise per day.
- Books will be renewed if there is no reservation made by other members. Books are required to be presented physically at the Counter for renewal.
- The returned books shall not be reissued to the same person on the same day of return.
- Members must replace the book if lost with the latest edition along with overdue charges. Triple the cost of the book will be collected if it is not returned/ replaced.
- Members are requested to verify the physical condition of the book before borrowing.
- Library books are to be used with care and to be returned without any damage. Damaged books shall not be accepted and it has to be replaced.
- Borrowing journals and Reference books from the Library is not permitted.
- After reading the books are to be left on the reading table itself and they will be shelved by the Library staff.
- Usage of cell phones inside the Library is not permitted.
- Library accepts donation of books, journals, etc. which are found useful to the students.
The above mentioned rules are subject to periodical review and revisions.
